When I was young I was convinced that mirrors were portals to different dimensions - if I stared into them for long enough I could make myself hallucinate. (In a good way).
I still think there is something amazing about them....the distorted reality aspect - we see our reflection in them all the time, but never see ourselves.
PS Title is a play on the title of a song by a band called Martin Stevenson and the Daintees - Wholly Humble Heart!
