Molecules

A silent smell pervaded my olfactory walls and I knew, even with my eyes shut who was there and what for.
The dark shadows that mostly inhabited the back recesses of my eyes gave away their secrets - allowing darts of light to cascade momentarily into my imagination.....like the torch in the midst of sleep.
And what's more, my shadows became obsessed - obsessed with feeling the warm stain of colour before them - wanting to touch for me, to express their forbidden shames.
They poured from my stinging sockets like inverted ectoplasm, spreading and feeling.........almost groping and wanting, tasting and pushing. The floor was sucked into the miasma and the dark thoughts crawled up the still molecules.......engaged and busy.....enveloping the time and sharing their moment.
A resolute silence struck invisible chords....marching to the rhythm of a staccato breath.......and the blink of the shutter sent the scene back to it's limbo.
